Back To Reality

I am currently in a taxi on the way to my famiky's house in Brampton. This trip was amazing. I shopped, went boating, ate amazing food, went on a 200ft slip and slide, saw beautiful mountains and valleys, and just hung out wirh family.

Oh I also got to meet up with an old missionary. I call him my big brother and he calls me his little sister. You know when you message people on Facebook and your not sure what its going to be like to see them in person. I was kinda worried to see him becuse I hadn't seen him in person for like 4 years. But we talked on Facebook sometimes. So on Sunday when we met up at church I was nervous. And it happend to be just fine.   He gave us big hugs and introduced us.to his wife. And she (I think) loved us. It was only a short visit but it was good to see him.

Well I just pulled up to the house so I'll write as soon as possible.

Arrived

So, I have arrived! The cabin has wifi which is awsome. I'll post pictures as soon as I can. The place we are staying at is HUGE!!!!! It's called the Bear Mallow Lodge. It is beautiful. The mansion is on the one of the moutains. I ran in and just walked around the whole place ( and got lost one or twice ). There are tons of things to do. There's are home theater, a games room, pool table and ping pog table, hot tub, play room, 8x bedrooms all with matching bathrooms (one with 7 beds cuse it's a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs theme bedroom), and a kitchen. So much to say but I'm so tierd.

A Life Times Of Tomorrows

We always say tomorrow. But never today. Take that chance and lean something new. Not tomorrow but today.

 My life is full of future things and I'm excited to learn and prepare for everyone of those things. I mean you always have to prepare for the next things. But I think we sometimes loose the enjoyment of the day we are living. Today was wonderful. I love my family and all they do for me.  I love learning new things about myself. So I am grateful for every leaning experience I have. But then again.... I can't wait for my trip tomorrow!!!!! I'll try and type another blog A.S.A.P!

The Vacation Life

It is so nice to be on vacation!!! I dont have to worry about work or well anything. Haha! I've stayed up late and sleeped in. Played games and just relaxed. I can't even say how much I am enjoying this trip in words. Next stop (meaning Monday) Utah!!!

On the road

I had a shift tonight from 3:30 to 7:30. It was a good shift. But as always at the end I call my house so my parents can come get me. Today I called multiply times! No awnser. Then I knew we were going from work! Like tonight! Like right after my shift. I was not happy I do not want to drive 5.5hrs in my Tim's uniform. My parents told me too bad and that we were on our way. Good thing they were joking!!!! I went home and got to change! Now we are on our way to an amazing vacation! So I might not.be here for a bit...

Lazy Sunday

This was my 1st down Sunday in a long time. I did nothing all day! It was quite nice. Just to let everyone know I leave on Wednesday. So I'll try and post but I may not be able too.

Carefree with Cupcakes

After a nice long shift at work. Doing all the wost jobs I was able to cone hone ans spend some time with Tori (my 17 year old sister). We watched my little pony and charmed.  Yes My Little Pony... I love kids tv shows! They are so simple yet funny. I ended up hanging out with Julia! She was so kind to pick me up. We used my favorite chocolate cake to make.... drum roll please... cupcakes! Not that you couldn't tell by my title. but we were able to decorate the all fancy like and stuff! It was so much fun. We then watched the bacherlorette. I don't normally watch it but it was good. I wish I started fron the beginging. Now I am watching more Charmed. Theb its bed!

The Job Hunt

I'm just a little upset... I am trying to look for a new job. One that will help me prepare for my mission. Example if I worked in a clothing store I could buy cloths for my mission. If I worked at the gym I could losse weight and be in better health and shape. But no one will hire me!! I understand that people are still looking for there 1st and I wish them luck! But to me this is getting out of hand. I just want to be better... and work in a better place.

Marathons

I am literally falling asleep as I write this! Today was awesome! I had my job interview which went well and then did some grocery shopping for my movie marathon tonight. I bought tons of food and treats for the event. Angie arrived about 2 and Julia arrived about 2:45. We had a problem with the projector but my wonderful father came and fix it. Oh man I don't even want to finish the post I'm so tired. Anywhooooo, we got the movies started and we had a marathon. Some of us walked over and bought some pizza its was so good. We continued with the marathon and now I want to pass out! I think I will. Haha!

Ups and Downs

Today was crazy! My mom woke me up early so that we could clean the house. I had a small tickle in my throat but pushed it off as nothing. I went about my day doing different church things. I went visiting teaching. Which is something the women of our church do to keep in contact with each other and to work as a unit.  I was so excited but nervous! I haven’t done it before. I love new things.  I think I did pretty well.  But soon after I got home the “little” tickle wasn’t so little anymore. It decided to make itself very known. I called into work and said that I was sick. I slept for 2 hours after that. And what a wonderful nap that was!! I still feel sick but a tad better. I was able to wake up and work on my missionary papers which will go in, in about 135 days! I am so excited!

I hope they call me on a mission.

Today I spent a lot of my time watching missionary calls and homecomings. I could feel the joy and excitement as each person opened their call. Soon I realized the I would have one of those videos and quite soon. I am so excites to be a missionary. hopefully I will have my papers in by Nov. 22. Exactly 120 days before I turn 19. I also realized that I have to much to do to be perpared!! I have to save, get into better shape, and so much more.

Prayer Changes Things

Church is over for the day and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is. Not that it’s over! But the spirit I can feel when I’m there. As I said last time I go to 6 hours of church. I go to 2 different wards (groups) my family one and the YSA (Young Single Adult) one. I’m one of the crazy ones because I don’t have to go to both but I chose too. In my home ward I work in the nursery with children ages 14 months to 3 year olds. I love it! I love working with children and teaching them the things of the gospel. Today’s lesson was prayer.  In YSA there was an underlining theme of prayed. Prayer is something that has affected me so much! It’s my communication with God where he can help me become the person he wants me to be. I just watched this video on prayer and I thought you might like it.

Well I’m off to my besties house! We’re going to watch big brother and have loads of fun!

Late Nights and Early Mornings

Being a good LDS teen I went to seminary which (thankfully) I have now completed. But I can thank it for a few things.

1. Teaching me the gospel  

2. Letting me become independent

3. Getting me a job

Yes, getting me a job. I work for my local Tim Horton’s and during my interview I was asked the question how early I was willing to start. I told her that I woke up for 5 every morning anyway and I would open on Saturdays too. Well I got that job and I open that store… Every Saturday… At 5am. Not like I get up at 5 no I have to be at work by then. Meaning I am up at about 4am.  I have been doing this for about a year and a half and it’s starting to really get tiring. I’m super grateful that I was blessed with a job but I just can’t do it anymore.  Plus it kinda sucks that I have to be in bed by 10 on a Friday. I also have event that I need to go to. Like my cousins wedding reception. (Kinda can’t miss out on that.) So I’m up later then I would like to be. Especially because I do 6 hours of church instead of 3.  But that’s for another post.

But good news! I have a job interview on the 10^th. This job would mean the world to me. I would be working with children while there ‘rents are working out in the gym. I think that this would help me a ton. Getting paid to pay with kids. Talk about a dream come true.
